All jewelry designs, imagery, logo, brand language and products listed for sale or displayed on this website are the intellectual property of K. Johnson Jewelry LLC. Reproductions of our jewelry, past or present, identically or with slight variants, either made for resale or for personal use, without our written consent is copyright infringement and theft of intellectual property. Any such infringement(s) may be met with a formal cease and desist demand. Failure to cease reproduction and/or infringement will show grounds for appropriate legal action to be pursued. 

Returns & Refunds: 

By completing a transaction on www.kjohnsonjewelry.com, you are agreeing to our company terms and conditions, as well as our return, refund and exchange policy. Terms are subject to change at any time and without notice.

If you are local to the Pflugerville/Austin area, our terms of use and store policies regarding returns & exchanges still apply. Returns or exchanges cannot, under any circumstance be dropped off in person, with or without notice. Doing so will result in our exchange/refund terms becoming null and void. We will assume you are forfeiting possession of your jewelry. Please follow return & exchange protocol as outlined below:

Custom fine jewelry items are final sales, no exceptions.

 Refunds will be given only if items are received at KJJ within 14 days of purchase date. Returns must include original packaging and arrive in unworn, undamaged condition. Buyers are responsible for return shipping charges as well as making sure jewelry is packaged to avoid damage during transit. (If you have questions about how to pack your items securely, please ask, we're happy to help) You MUST contact us prior to shipping items back. Your return will require us to issue a RA# (return authorization) for you to note on the outside of your package. Failure to contact us prior to returning items will result in our standard 20% re-stocking fee. This policy is in place to streamline day-to-day procedures and more efficiently serve you and other clients. K. Johnson Jewelry is not responsible for items lost in transit. It is your responsibility to purchase insurance if you deem it necessary. A package lost in transit to KJJ will not be issued a refund. Items that arrive showing wear or damage will NOT be refunded. If your return arrives past the 14 day mark, see below.

After 14 days of purchase, store credit will be given, less shipping charges. Items must be returned in the original packaging and in unworn condition. Buyers are responsible for all incurred costs regarding return shipping. A 20% restocking fee will apply, no exceptions. You MUST contact us prior to shipping items back. Your return will require us to issue a RA# (return authorization) for you to note on the outside of your package.

30 days after purchase, K. Johnson Jewelry does not offer returns or exchanges and your purchase will become a final sale. Exceptions to this policy would include items with manufacturing defects. These cases will be determined at the discretion of K. Johnson Jewelry, but do not include buyers remorse, theft, loss, metal allergy or abuse of products. If you suspect your jewelry has a manufacturing defect that is not due to normal wear and tear, please be prepared to provide photos upon request.

Exchanges:

We welcome exchanges within 30 days of purchase. Items must be returned in the original packaging and in unworn condition. Buyers are responsible for return shipping charges to AND from KJJ. When the item replacing an exchange request is complete, you will receive an email with an invoice for the return shipping charges. Exchanges will not be sent back until this invoice is paid.


Shipping Charges:

All shipping charges are non-refundable, no exceptions.

International orders may be subject to charges that exceed what was paid to K. Johnson Jewelry LLC at the time of checkout. These charges are determined by the import laws of each country and may include, but are not limited to: customs fees and/or taxes, tariffs and duties. Any such fees or related fees and balances are the responsibility of our international customers at the time of delivery. Import laws and related fees are not associated with, or the responsibility of K. Johnson Jewelry LLC.

Gifts:

Any gifts, BOGO offers, or any other promotional items provided by K. Johnson Jewelry are considered tied to any items purchased in the same transaction. If a return is requested, gifts must be returned with the jewelry you are returning in order for your refund to begin processing. These items must also be in the same unworn condition, as well as in their original packaging. Gift and promotional items cannot be used toward, or to replace any refunds, credits or exchanges, as they do not hold any cash value. Gift items may not be exchanged. If your return or exchange is not accompanied by the gifts attached to it in your transaction, no refund will be issued until said gift(s) is returned. 

Gift Certificates:

Gift certificates should be treated like cash. They do not have an expiration date. K. Johnson Jewelry is not responsible for lost or stolen certificates. Redeeming purchases must be for the full value of the gift certificate or more. To redeem, enter the custom code listed on your certificate at the time of checkout. Codes are single use and unique. Gift Certificates are not subject to returns, and are considered a final sale. Jewelry purchased using a gift certificate is eligible for exchange ONLY in accordance with the policy outlined above. Sales tax is not charged at the time of GC purchase. Recipients of certificates are responsible for any applicable taxes and shipping fees at the time of redemption.

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

_session_id, unique token, sessional, Allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).
_shopify_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit, Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits
_shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day, Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
