Kaylee Jo Johnson

Hello! I'm Kaylee, founder and designer at K. Johnson Jewelry. I'm a Colorado native, and moved in 2010 to pursue my jewelry design career. I've since found my heart tethered to this great state of Texas and call the city of Pflugerville home. I live with the two biggest blessings of my life - my beautiful children Ezra & Mila, who I lovingly refer to as my "curly tops".

You will notice a difference between KJJ and other retailers, and that's because we truly operate from a "family first" mentality, not just in word, but in action. I believe anything we're given in this life, whether it be material possessions, talents, etc., is merely on loan to us for the purpose of serving and helping others. It is my greatest intention that this outlook on life systematically shines through in the work we do!

When I'm not spending time with my kids or working, you can find me dabbling in other art forms such as watercolor, photography and written expressions. I love spending time outside on the lake, in the mountains of my home state of Colorado or near a campfire, toes in the sand sharing memories with family.

Professionally, I've been immersed in the jewelry design industry for 11+ years, and I have a deep-seeded commitment to my clients. I know some of you may want to know about my credentials, education and professional experience, and all that is listed below this little blurb. BUT, for the rest of you, I think you want to know what I can do for YOU as you search for the perfect piece of custom jewelry. I will be the right designer for you if you answer yes to one, or all, of these questions:

1. Do you appreciate building personal relationships with people you do business with?

2. Do you want the same service/respect whether you buy a $50 piece or a $10,000 piece?

3. Do your jewelry items hold deep meaning for you?

4. Do you love wearing items that no one else owns?

5. Do you value 100% full disclosure and honesty?

6. Do you enjoy supporting small businesses?

7. Do you appreciate quality, handcrafted items over mass produced items?

As we begin your custom project, all attention is on you. You're in charge of the project as much, or as little as you would like to be! If you have a sketch, heirloom piece or just a whisper of an idea floating around in your noggin', I can put on paper exactly what you're looking for. You will not feel pressure to buy bigger or spend more. However, you will be completely educated on all of your options so you may choose the one that fits you, your aesthetic, and your budget. And, when it's all said and done, you will walk away with a meticulously crafted piece of original art that you can be proud of!
